About The Teacher

As a Resource Specialist, I enjoy working with small groups of students to support their growth in the classroom. I have the opportunity to work with students in grades K-2 to build literacy skills. I am also available to provide organizational support to Middle School students. 

 

I graduated from Boston College with a degree in Elementary Education and then from University of Virginia with a Masters in Reading Education. Most recently, I finished an Orton Gillingham certification program. I am passionate about teaching children to read and to love books. 

 

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family: my husband and 4 children, two of which are still students at STM, one who attends Bishop O'Connell and one at UVA. I love to read, to cook, and to walk on the beach or hike through the woods. I look forward to a wonderful year full of exciting adventures!
