A Community Rooted in Faith, Service, and Excellence

St. Thomas More Cathedral School is a Catholic learning community dedicated to fostering spiritual growth, moral character, and intellectual excellence. Our diverse student body reflects the richness of the greater metropolitan area, and we are especially proud of the patriotism, dedication, and service demonstrated by our many military families.

At STM, we believe that faith calls us to serve others. Our students actively live out this mission through meaningful service opportunities, including the Giving Tree, St. Lucy Project and Christ House food drives, the Matthew 25 Thrift Shop Coat Drive, HOPE in Northern Virginia, St. Martin de Porres Senior Center, Martha’s Table, and Lions Club initiatives. These experiences inspire compassion, generosity, and a lifelong commitment to helping those in need.

Our active and welcoming Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) strengthens our school community by encouraging volunteerism and creating opportunities for families to connect. Through signature events such as the School Auction, Race for Education, Trunk or Treat and restaurant night fundraisers amongst others, our families come together to celebrate and support STM.

The STM Development Committee plays a vital role in advancing our mission by supporting our alumni community and helping ensure that students continue to receive a high-quality Catholic education that remains accessible and affordable for families.
