Looking for something for your children to do on March 31 (Tue) when school is closed? Consider having them register for a 6-hour Master Artist Class where they will learn to draw cartoons. There are four locations across NOVA offering this $80 class: Vienna, Annadale, Springfield, and Mt. Vernon. Links with more info and to register are below.

Mrs. Parente and Mr. Biehler are inviting 2nd - 8th graders to attend Homework Hour (Mon-Thr, 3:20pm - 4:20pm) for $20 a session. Sessions are designed to provide students an opportunity to ask questions, seek clarification, and receive guidance on homework.  (These are not tutoring sessions. PreK - 7th grade parents may now order yearbooks! Yearbooks are $27 and will be delivered in early June. PTO will generously provide them for free to graduating 8th graders. A link to order and POC are below.

Looking for something for your children (ages 5-12) to do during Easter Break, sign them up for Abrakadoodle Art Camp at STM from 9am - 3pm for $315 each. A link to register, POC, and more information are below.

My Hot Lunchbox has replaced Paisanos with Red Robin for Monday lunches starting April 13 (Mon). With Easter Break, the last Paisanos lunch will be March 30 (Mon).

Darrin DeReus, author of "Zuzu's Big Move" and Olivia Stoumbos, the illustrator and STM graduate, will visit Apr 16 (Thr).  The book is about a King Charles Cavelier named Zuzu, who learns how to navigate the changes of moving to a new home - a topic many of STM families know about.  Look for info how to order the book in your child's Wednesday folder.

Social Grace has 2 springs programs: Executive Function Group (3rd-8th Grade) and Game Groups (1st-5th). Flyers and additional info is below.

Adults who were Baptized Catholic and received First Communion, but were never Confirmed, can be Confirmed in the Cathedral on May 17 (Sun) or May 31 (Sun), if they attend 4 Monday meetings on April 13, 20, 27 and May 4. A flyer with details and POC are below.

Bishop Burbidge invites all Middle Schoolers to BASH 2026 on April 25 (Sat) at Bishop O'Connell from 3:30pm - 8:30pm. Over 1,300 middle schoolers are expected to enjoy a day of: gaga ball tournaments, free throw contests, middle school-size bounce houses, rock climbing, pizza, ice cream, Illusionist Giancarlo Bernini, Key Note Speaker Rachel Leininger, and Vigil Mass (completes Sunday obligation) celebrated by the Bishop. STM families only have to pay $10 per youth and will meet at STM at 2:30pm and return at 9pm. Fully Compliant (VIRTUS + background check) parent volunteers are needed as drivers and chaperones. Sign up before before it sells out. This will be the place to be if you are a middle schooler!

If interested in getting your child Baptized, please contact Benjamin Paczak ([email protected]). For children under 7, the process may only take 2-3 months, as the parents make the decision and speak for the child. For children 7 or older, the process takes a little more time.
