STM is hosting 3 science summer camps (Mon-Fri): 13-17 July, 20-24 July, and 27-31 July with Club SciKidz. Classes offered: Little Scientist, Jr. Robot Creator LEGO, Beginner Minecraft Game Design, American Doll, Jr. Veterinarian, Magical & Mystical (Harry Potter), Role Playing Game (RPG) Video Game Design, etc. The link to register, FAQs, and a flyer are below.

Camp St. Charles, a Catholic-based summer camp founded in 1952, in Newburg, MD - 50 miles southeast of D.C. (directly across the Potomac from Fredericksburg) is accepting registration for families with 6 to 15-year-olds. The camp is on a peninsula on the Potomac, has horse-riding, has canoes, etc. Links to their website and videos are below. Open House dates: March 8 (Sun) and April 12 (Sun) from 11am - 3pm.

If interested in getting your child Baptized, please contact Benjamin Paczak ([email protected]). For children under 7, the process may only take 2-3 months, as the parents make the decision and speak for the child. For children 7 or older, the process takes a little more time.

Mrs. Parente and Mr. Biehler are inviting 2nd - 8th graders to attend Homework Hour (Mon-Thr, 3:20pm - 4:20pm) for $20 a session. Sessions are designed to provide students an opportunity to ask questions, seek clarification, and receive guidance on homework.  (These are not tutoring sessions. Those may be arranged with other teachers.) Link to register, POCs, and additional info are below.

Thank you to those who attended Parent University on Feb 19 (Thr) with Holly Keegan of Academic Ascent. Holly shared insights on children's cognitive flexibility, emotional regulation, strategies, etc. and graciously allowed us to record the evening session (40 minutes), which can be viewed at link below along with her contact info.
