Arrival & Dismissal
PickUp Patrol – STM School will be using a system called PickUp Patrol to help us track dismissals. PickUp Patrol provides you with a convenient way to make changes to your child’s dismissal plans and helps ensure that students are accurately dismissed each day while providing staff with real-time information to help ensure a safe, efficient, and streamlined dismissal process.
STM parent PickUp Patrol accounts must be set up before the start of the school year.
We will no longer accept requests via emails and are no longer using the google sheet to inform of changes. You will be required to submit all changes in this system.
All changes to the students arrival and/or dismissal process will have to be done directly on the PickUp Patrol (PUP) system. NOTE: The best way to do this is after you have signed up for this BOOKMARK it into your phone that way you can easily access the system
How It Works:
- Your child’s regular dismissal plan will be entered into the system. This is called their Default Plan.
- Whenever your child is doing something other than their Default Plan, you’ll submit a Plan Change in the PickUp Patrol system by date (using the drop down menu and do this for each day in question). Examples of a Plan Change include:
- Mark your student absent (provide reason for excused absenteeism)
- Your child normally rides the bus, but is getting picked up today in a different manner
- Your child is getting picked up by someone other than yourself
- Your child has a doctor's appointment and will be leaving early (provide reason for excused absenteeism)
- Your child has an appointment before school and or is arriving in late in the morning (provide reason for excused absenteeism)
- Your child is participating in after school activities.
- When the change is submitted, our school will be notified, and we’ll relay the change to your child & their teacher.
REGISTER: Parents received a registration email from PickUp Patrol directly with a link to set up their account. The parent portal is free and can be accessed from your phone or computer. The link in your registration email will only be live for 48 hours. As soon as you receive it, please log in and confirm your child’s default plan.
