Welcome To Third Grade

Hello! My name is Mrs. Tina Lyons. I have lived in Virginia most of my life. Currently, I reside in Alexandria with my husband and two sons in George Washington’s backyard near Mount Vernon.  We enjoy spending time outdoors and visiting National Parks on family trips.

I earned a BA in English from George Mason University and a Masters in Early Childhood Special Education from George Washington University.  I join STM after teaching special education in Arlington County for many years. My sons are STM graduates, Class of 2017 and Class of 2022. I have enjoyed working as a substitute teacher and parent volunteer while they attended school here.

I am excited to be teaching third grade this year and look forward to a fun and successful year with our students!
