Library

At St. Thomas More Cathedral School, we strive to cultivate curiosity and instill a life-long love of reading in our students.

Our Library program engages students with experiences designed to demonstrate that reading offers both information and enjoyment. Our librarian introduces budding readers to the concept that the library is an ideal place for exploration and discovery through a wide array of books and non-print materials. Students of all ages are encouraged to read voraciously, and our librarian ensures that the library is stocked with a diverse selection of books for students at every reading level. Our library boasts an impressive catalog of over 17,000 print and online volumes ranging from fiction to non-fiction, biography, poetry, picture books, graphic novels and basic reference materials.

Special programs sponsored by the library to encourage reading are:
-One School, One Book Reading Program
-The Book-in-a-Bag for Pre-K and Kindergarten students
-Author visits to school
-6th Grade Battle of the Books
-Book fairs

By the time your student leaves St. Thomas More Cathedral School, he or she will have enthusiastically embraced reading as the gateway for lifetime learning!
