Below you will find a sample of some of the Arlington Diocesan guidelines for elementary Spanish instruction. There will be no assigned homework for Pre-K-and K as well as 1st grade. 2nd & 3rd grade will be assigned homework. Stay tuned with assignment due dates via the student planner. Students in grades 1-3 will be graded on the report card based on their participation in class and effort. Numerical grades are not given until 4th grade.
Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten:
- Introducing oneself
- Basic greetings
- Colors
- Shapes
- Numbers, etc.
1st, 2nd and 3rd Grades:
- Colors, shapes, numbers
- Days of the week
- Clothing
- Parts of the body
- Family, Clothes, Classroom objects, etc.
