About the Teacher

Hola! My name is Maureen Arroyo and I have been teaching at St. Thomas More since 1977. I  taught Kindergarten ,First, and Second grades here at  STM for 46 years before retiring in 2009. For the past twelve years I have been teaching Spanish to Grades PRE-K -3 on a part time basis!  I have also been on the Extended Day staff since 1993. Presently, I work the morning extended day hour.

 

I am a graduate of Immaculata University in suburban Philadelphia! To date, I have taught on three continents. In both Lima, Peru and Madrid, Spain, I  taught ESL classes to adults also.                                                                                                  My two girls were STM alums! I have five grandchildren, two in San Francisco and three here in Northern Virginia. "Let the little children come to me!"
