Meet Mr. Barry Wright

I was raised in Northampton, Massachusetts, and attended Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont. Upon graduating from Norwich with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, I was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Army Air Defense Artillery through the Norwich ROTC program.

I continued my education at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where I earned a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering with a concentration in Operations Research.

After a 30-year career in the Army, I retired from military service and spent many years working as a defense contractor. After finally retiring for good, I now enjoy the three passions of my life: mentoring, teaching, and fly fishing.

I am grateful to be part of the Saint Thomas More School community and look forward to sharing my experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm with our students!
