Meet Mr. Alberto Alejandre

Hello, my name is Alberto Alejandre, and I am originally from Córdoba, Mexico. I grew up spending time in both Mexico and the United States, which fostered my appreciation for history, culture, and the connections between our two countries.

I hold a degree in Philosophy from Regis University, a Licentiate in Philosophy from the Pontifical Lateran University, and a Master’s in Public Policy from Georgetown University. Throughout my career, I have taught English, Spanish, Hispanic History and Culture, French, and Civics in both the United States and Mexico.

I am a member of Mexico’s National Academy of History and Geography (ANHG), where I have conducted research at the Iturbide-Kearney Archive at The Catholic University of America. I currently serve as Vice President of my ANHG chapter and remain active in the organization.

I come to St. Thomas More Cathedral School after working with the Workplace Wellness Council Mexico from 2020–2026, where I will continue to serve on the Advisory Board. I am a passionate lover of history, particularly the Middle Ages, the history of the United States and Spanish America, and the Dominican Order.
