Meet Mrs. Monteagudo
My name is Maria Monteagudo, and I’m originally from Southern California. As the proud wife of a military veteran and mom to three amazing adult daughters, family and faith have always been at the center of my life.
I hold a Master’s degree in Education and have a deep love for learning—something I strive to share with every student I teach. This year marks my seventh year in education, and I continue to find so much joy in teaching, especially when it comes to sharing the beauty and depth of our Catholic faith.
I strive to create a classroom environment rooted in compassion, where students feel seen, supported, and inspired to learn. My Catholic faith guides me each day, and I believe deeply in being a living example of Christ’s love in all that we do—especially in the way we treat and teach others.
It is a true joy to share the richness of our faith with students and to walk alongside them as they grow and discover more about the world, their faith, and themselves—both spiritually and intellectually.
I am grateful to be part of the Saint Thomas More community and look forward to a wonderful year of learning, growing, and living our faith together!
