Meet Mr. Joshua Biehler

Raised and educated in Catholic schools, I have always valued faith, service, and lifelong learning. I earned a bachelor's degree in Art History from George Mason University, with a minor in English, followed by a master's degree in Organizational Development and Change from Penn State University. My diverse professional background includes experience in retail, government, and nonprofit organizations, as well as running my own consulting firm.

While each of these experiences provided valuable opportunities for growth, I ultimately returned to my roots and my true passion—education. As a dedicated second-grade teacher, I believe that structure, consistency, and high expectations help every child succeed. I am especially passionate about literacy instruction and integrating Orton-Gillingham strategies with engaging reading resources to help students become confident, capable readers. I am VCEA Certified and am currently pursuing a Certificate in Catholic School Leadership, further strengthening my commitment to excellence in Catholic education. I strive to create a classroom where students can grow academically, spiritually, and personally, while bringing organization, creativity, and a commitment to continuous growth to my work each day.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy traveling, hiking, exploring new places, attending concerts, and spending time with my dog. Whether planning my next adventure or creating meaningful learning experiences for my students, I bring enthusiasm, curiosity, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact each day.
