Learning, Playing, and Praying Together in Faith

I am excited to continue my journey at St. Thomas More! I have been working in education since 2014, including six years as an instructional assistant, three of which were in the Diocese of Arlington. The 2026–2027 school year will mark my seventh year as a lead teacher. I previously taught second grade at St. Bernadette Catholic School and first grade at St. Ambrose Catholic School. During my third year at St. Ambrose, I helped implement the school’s dual-language program.

I was born and raised in Northern Virginia and attended St. Bernadette Catholic School and Fairfax County Public Schools. Growing up, I participated in dance, gymnastics, basketball, soccer, and cheerleading. I also began playing the flute in fourth grade and continued through high school.

I graduated from Lynchburg College, now the University of Lynchburg, in 2014 with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Teacher Education in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education. In 2017, I earned an M.Ed. in Teaching and Learning with a cognate in Special Education from Liberty University. I also hold Graduate Certificates in Autism Education and School Leadership from Liberty University, as well as a Career Studies Certificate in American Sign Language from NOVA.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and making memories with my dog, Riley. I am grateful to be part of the St. Thomas More community and look forward to another wonderful year!
