A Leader Rooted in Faith and Service

I joined St. Thomas More Cathedral School in 2023 after serving as Assistant Principal, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and Director of Resources at St. Ambrose Catholic School in Annandale. These leadership roles provided me with a strong foundation in school administration, curriculum development, instructional leadership, and faculty support.

Prior to my administrative leadership, I was a teacher at St. Leo the Great Catholic School in Fairfax, where I taught first and second grades. Preparing students to receive their sacraments remains a joy, an honor, and certainly a highlight in my career. I also had the privilege of mentoring fellow teachers, serving as a liaison to the PTO, working as a faculty advisor, and contributing to numerous school committees. These experiences deepened my passion for education and strengthened my belief in the importance of collaboration, mentorship, and community.

I hold a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from Marymount University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In addition, I am an Institute for Multisensory Education (IMSE) Certified Dyslexia Interventionist.

As an educator and administrator, I am committed to supporting the faculty and staff who are at the heart and soul of St. Thomas More Cathedral School. I believe that when teachers are supported, encouraged, and empowered to grow professionally, they are better equipped to make a lasting impact on the lives of their students.

My approach to leadership is rooted in a commitment to servant leadership, trust, integrity, and transparency. I am dedicated to mentoring and encouraging our faculty as they pursue their professional goals, embrace best practices, and continue to grow as educators. Through collaboration and collegiality, I work alongside our teachers and administrators to foster a high-quality learning environment where every student is supported spiritually, intellectually, socially, and emotionally.

As Principal, I am committed to continuing St. Thomas More Cathedral School's strong tradition of excellence in forming the whole child. I believe in nurturing Christian values and faith formation, helping each student discover and become the person God created them to be. I believe in the importance of fostering a culture of encounter - a community that reflects Christ’s hospitality, where students don’t just “go to school here”, but feel like they truly belong.

I am devoted to building trusting relationships rooted in faith with our Rector, faculty, staff, students, and parent community while keeping our school moving forward through attainable goals and thoughtful strategic planning.

At STM, we are more than a school; we are a family built on faith, service, learning, and a shared commitment to our students. I am passionate about fostering a community where our students and adults are encouraged to Pray MORE, Serve MORE, and Learn MORE. Together, we seek to create an environment where every member of our community can grow in faith, serve others, pursue excellence, and reach their full potential.

I am honored to lead alongside our dedicated faculty and staff and to partner with our families in nurturing the spiritual, academic, social, and emotional promise of every student. Together, we will continue to build on the rich traditions of St. Thomas More Cathedral School while looking toward the future with faith, purpose, and a commitment to excellence.
