Meet Mrs. Parente

I have been part of the St. Thomas More Cathedral School community since 2022 and am beginning my fifth year at STM and my eleventh year in education. As a graduate of Georgetown University, I am passionate about fostering intellectual curiosity, strong character, and a lifelong love of learning in every student. I strive to create a classroom where students feel challenged, supported, and inspired to think critically, communicate effectively, and grow in confidence.

Having lived internationally and studied abroad, I bring a global perspective to my teaching and value the importance of language, culture, and understanding different perspectives. These experiences have strengthened my appreciation for helping students become thoughtful, compassionate, and engaged citizens.

My husband serves on the STM PTO Board, and together we have two children, Madeleine and John, who attend STM Middle School. As both a teacher and a parent, I am grateful to be part of a school community that nurtures academic excellence, faith, and service, and I look forward to helping our students grow each day.
