Middle School (Grades 6–8)

Preparing Students for High School and Beyond

The Middle School program at St. Thomas More Cathedral School challenges students to grow academically, spiritually, and personally as they prepare for the transition to high school. Rooted in the Curriculum Guidelines of the Diocese of Arlington Catholic Schools, our rigorous curriculum encourages intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, leadership, and a lifelong pursuit of truth.

 

Core curriculum instruction includes:

  • Religion
  • Reading
  • Language Arts
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Social Studies
  • Spanish
 

Students also participate in weekly enrichment classes in:

  • Fine Arts (Art & Music)
  • Library
  • Technology
  • Physical Education

In addition, students may participate in our optional instrumental band program, after-school choir, and weekly school-wide singing practice.
