Tuition Information

Families have three payment options for paying tuition: 

  1. Pay in full - Families can pay in full by June 1 (and receive a discount for doing so)
  2. Monthly payments - payments begin in June and run through April
  3. Bimonthly payments - payments begin in June and run through April

 

Please review the tuition schedule at the bottom of this page for the discount that would be applied to your rate and number of children.

 

FACTS

St. Thomas More Cathedral School requires all families to use FACTS, an automated payment system, to process tuition payments. By using FACTS, you preauthorize your bank or credit card company to automatically transfer tuition funds to STM on the installment payment dates set up by the school. STM also uses FACTS to bill families for all incidental charges incurred during the school year. These include charges for books and materials, extended day usage, field trips, PTO dues, etc. To facilitate timely payment of all incidental expenses, we encourage you to consider enrolling in auto-pay for your incidental expenses account.

 

New families need to establish an account with FACTS. Please visit the FACTS website accessible via the button at the top of the page or by clicking here. Select “Start Here” and follow the prompts to set up a new user account.

Returning Families

All families who are currently signed up to make payments through FACTS will be automatically re-enrolled in the program in April for the upcoming school year. Please ensure that your personal and financial account information are kept current. If you need to make changes to your personal or financial account information, you may do so directly by logging into your account at the link provided on this page. 

 

New Families

If you are a new family joining us for the upcoming academic year, you also need to establish an account with FACTS. Please visit the FACTS Login page accessible via the button above and click on “Start Here.” Follow the prompts to set up a new user account. If you have any questions or require assistance in setting up your new account, please call the school office and ask for Bookkeeping.

 

Tuition Assistance

The Diocese of Arlington and the STM School and Parish Community are committed to making a Catholic education attainable for all who seek it. All families are encouraged to apply for tuition aid if assistance is needed. Pursuant to diocesan guidelines issued this year, STM will again use FACTS Grant & Aid for financial aid assessments. Only families who complete the Tuition Assistance application via FACTS will be considered. Tuition Assistance is made possible through the contributions from Diocese of Arlington parishioners and the Rooted in Faith-Forward in Hope

 

Capital Campaign Endowment

The Diocesan Financial Aid application in FACTS opens every year on November 1. FACTS Grant & Aid applications are accepted through March 31 for the following academic school year. Families are encouraged to submit as soon as they are able in advance of the deadline.

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students attending or accepted by a Diocese of Arlington Catholic school (K-12).
  • Preschool and Pre-K students are not eligible.
  • Students who are Catholic and members of a parish in the Diocese of Arlington or military base parish.
  • Families residing within the boundaries of the Diocese of Arlington and are registered and active members of a Diocesan parish or a military base parish.

 

Application Process

Submit a financial aid assessment application and all supporting tax documentation by the due date. Applications will be completed electronically online via FACTS. Only one application is required per family.

Required: W-2s and tax returns.
