Tuition

The following tuition rates and fees are in effect for the 2026-2027 school year. This includes additional standard expenses, for example, textbook, and technology fees. They are subject to change for the next school year. Our Tuition includes a Technology Fee and Book and Supply Fees for K – 8 students. For purposes of school registration or tuition rate, in order to qualify for the Catholic* tuition rate, children must be baptized in the Catholic Church and families must be registered in a Catholic parish, which may also include financial contributions through the use of an established regular e-giving plan.

FACTS Payment System:

STM requires families to have an active FACTS account which is an automated payment system. By using FACTS, you preauthorize your bank or credit card company to automatically transfer tuition funds to STM on the installment payment dates. STM also uses FACTS to bill families for incidental charges (e.g., spirit wear, field trips, PTO dues).

New families are asked to set up their account with FACTS and following the three-step enrollment process listed there.

All families, returning and new, will receive an email from FACTS detailing all the information pertinent to you once the account has been finalized.

Payment Options:

Payment in Full - Families can pay in full receive a 1% discount (due June 1st)
Monthly payments (June through April)
Bimonthly payments (June through April)

FACTS Account Support

Please note that St. Thomas More Cathedral School (STM) is unable to make changes to or provide technical support for FACTS accounts. For assistance with account management, password resets, billing questions, or other FACTS-related issues, please visit the FACTS support website or contact their Customer Support team directly at 866-441-4637.

Financial Assistance Information:

The Diocese of Arlington, St. Thomas More Cathedral School, and the Parish are committed to making a Catholic education accessible to families through several tuition assistance and scholarship programs, including diocesan, parish, and school-funded aid. Families who need financial assistance are encouraged to apply through FACTS Grant & Aid. Only families who submit a completed FACTS Tuition Assistance application will be considered.

1099 forms (if applicable)
Any additional financial documents requested by FACTS

The application process for financial aid opens in January and closes in March each year.
Applications require the previous year's tax forms, W-2s, 1099s, etc.
Only families who complete the Tuition Assistance application will be considered.

How do I apply?

If a family needs assistance, they are encouraged to apply through their FACTS account by the established deadline. The FACTS Grant & Aid Online Application and information can be found here. There may be a processing fee.

Award Decisions

Applications are reviewed confidentially by the school's Financial Aid Committee. Families selected for assistance will receive one award letter that reflects all tuition aid awarded from applicable diocesan, parish, and school funding sources. Tuition assistance is granted for one academic year only, and families must reapply each year.
