Dear Parents,
We are almost halfway through the trimester and yet it seems that we just returned from summer vacation. But the leaves are turning and the thermometer is dropping, so it must be Fall. As the school year progresses, there is a lot going on; please be sure to keep the school calendar as one of your bookmarked favorites. Much to follow: Band Practice, High School Orientation visits, Dress Down Days, Confessions, Interims – something for everyone!
Thanks to the hard work of our Curriculum Specialist, Mrs. Emily Stocker, our transition from Scantron to MAPS Assessments went smoothly and were complete in record time. We will learn more about manipulating the resultant data at this Friday’s Professional Development. Remember this Friday, September 30, is a Diocesan-wide day off for students.
The Hispanic Heritage Festival is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday in the school’s parking lot. So, if you are dropping your child off for basketball, Brownies or the Confirmation Retreat, please park in the Cathedral and walk your student to their appointed place.
