Dear Parents,
I returned from the Diocesan’s Principals’ Retreat refreshed, renewed and raring to go. And there was plenty to go to, like Oktoberfest, a wonderful success for over 800 people. A big thank you to Mrs. Quaadman for organizing a great evening and to Mrs. Devereux and Mrs. Kelly for serving as chairs. A shout out also to the O’Connor family for cooking up delicious brats, our guest DJ, Mr. Jayme, Mrs. Hughes, Mrs. Stillone, Mr. Slabinksi and the Knights who served all evening.
Please note that all current PreK through 7th grade STM students have been re-enrolled for next school year. Registration fee and Tuition Deposit will be charged via FACTS on December 16. While it seems early, we give priority to our current families prior to opening registration to our wait-list students. Should your family be planning a move, please opt out of automatic enrollment by sending an email to our Registrar, Mrs. Neubauer ([email protected]), by October 31.
Catholics all over the world celebrate the Rosary during the month of October. I still recall my teacher asking our class to say the Rosary daily in order to end the Vietnam War. I did; and the conflict ended shortly afterward. I was sure that I stopped the war; well, God and I did! At school we pray a decade of the Rosary after lunch, pray the Rosary during our lock down drills and will be treated to a Living Rosary after Mass on Friday. I invite you to join us and make the Rosary part of your family routine. Maybe your child can take credit for ending current hostilities.
Chat soon,
Cath
