Our Cross Country team gave an outstanding effort this past weekend while competing on a very slick and muddy course that featured tight trail running and plenty of falls along the way.
Isaac Thies led the Varsity Boys with an impressive 7th-place overall finish and 1st place among all 7th graders. His performance helped the Varsity Boys earn 5th place out of 20 teams in a very competitive field. The team also included Dallas Ayers, Alex McDaniel, Jack O’Hare, and Nate Wheatley.
Our Frosh (3rd/4th Grade) Girls also had a strong showing, finishing 4th as a team. Edith Kuhlman led the way with a 7th-place overall finish, followed by Beatrix Alvaro and Emilia Abad, who finished an incredible 0.04 seconds apart!
Congratulations to all of our runners for their effort and perseverance in challenging conditions. The team is now preparing for the Championship Meet on Saturday, November 7.
Our Tennis teams are also entering an exciting part of their season and are currently preparing for the playoffs. We are proud of the effort and commitment from all of our players and coaches throughout the fall season. Additional playoff details and end-of-season updates for Tennis will be shared soon.
Best of luck to all of our STM athletes as they compete in the final weeks of the fall season!
