I grew up in Northeast Ohio, and I have lived and worked in Northern Virginia with my husband and three daughters for the last 18 years. My two oldest daughters, Hillary and Annika Mitchell are students at STM and the youngest, Madeleine will be attending STM in the fall.
I’m a graduate of The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business Honors Program and earned a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration and Marketing. My previous professional experiences include corporate training, coaching, marketing, publishing and sales.
Recently I have been serving at STM as a volunteer catechist and the long term substitute technology teacher. I discovered how much I love being in the classroom and felt the call to continue teaching. When the opportunity arose to join the faculty at STM I was thrilled. I have a passion for reading, writing, history and theology. I hope to kindle the same enthusiasm in my students. In my position as a technology instructor, I have enjoyed getting to know next year’s rising 5th graders, and I am looking forward to spending more time with them next year in 5th grade.
