Clinic Communications

As we head into the cold and flu season, it’s time to start thinking about what we all can do to stay healthy!

  • Pharmacies and provider’s offices have started to receive the flu vaccine. If you plan to have your family vaccinated, think about calling your provider to schedule your appointment now.
  • Review with your child(ren) healthy hygiene habits at home that will carry over into the school day. This includes proper hand washing and how to cover coughs and sneezes appropriately.
  • Adequate sleep and a well-balanced diet can help to keep students feeling their best and in return help them to be their best selves at school. How much sleep should your child be getting? Check-out the link below for sleep recommendations based on your child’s age

  • Lastly, if you have a few extra tissue boxes laying around, I’m sure your child’s homeroom teacher would gladly take them off your hands! Classrooms go through a lot of tissues this time of year!
