Sick Policy

Please help to ensure we keep our STM community healthy by keeping students who are exhibiting signs of illness home. It is our policy at STM that students should be free from vomiting as well as fever free (unmedicated) for twenty-four hours before returning to school. A reminder at home to cover coughs and sneezes appropriately is always helpful as well!

Allergens and Yay Lunch

If you are using the Yay Lunch service and your child has food allergies please ensure that the meals you are selecting are appropriate and safe for your child. New this year is a “grab and go” option which allows students to select from a variety of prepackaged meals, snacks and drinks. If your student has food allergies, Yay Lunch has suggested this may not be an appropriate option as varied items may contain allergens or be processed in a facility that contains common allergens. Please note that if you have not given your student a pin for “grab and go” they are unable to access these options. Information regarding food sensitivities can be found on the following link:https://www.yaylunch.com/faqs. You can also reach out directly at [email protected].

Emergency Medication

Please remember to drop off any emergency medications that are to be kept at school if you haven't done so already.

We are excited to be here at STM this year and looking forward to a wonderful year! The best way to reach us for any non-emergent reason is through email at [email protected] (as we are always out and about getting our steps in throughout the school day). We can also be reached via phone through the STM main line.

Looking forward to a wonderful, healthy school year!
