Counselor's Connection

March’s Topic: Taking other People’s Perspective

Spring is right around the corner! As the seasons change and flowers bloom, now is the time to help our students’ perspective-taking skills blossom. This month, we will focus on teaching skills that our students need to become more empathetic, and understand their peers’ thoughts and feelings better. Good perspective-takers have fewer daily conflicts, are able to work more effectively on a common goal, and are better equipped to take on leadership positions.

I will be teaching the fundamentals of WHAT is perspective-taking, HOW we can become better perspective-takers and WHY it’s important.
