Clinic Communications

Tiger King and sourdough starter may be sooooo 2020, but the clinic nurses would like to remind you that hand washing is still very en vogue.

Please know that we are reinforcing the importance of washing hands at school, especially before eating and after using the bathroom, but we are very much helped when students' first teachers (their parents) are emphasizing this practice at home. We know the cold and dry weather can be hard on hands making hand washing uncomfortable, but we have packets of hypoallergenic, unscented lotion available in the clinic, and wearing gloves at recess can help. Strep and covid are currently circulating in the school, and we want to help keep kids healthy.

Hearing and Vision Screening Permission Slips Coming Home
If you have a K, 3, or 7 student, please check their folder tonight for their permission slip for hearing and vision screening. Because we are partnering with the Lions Club, if you would like them to be screened at school a separate permission slip is required. Students who are referred for further testing will have notes available in their Magnus accounts. If the screening is within normal limits, no additional notes will be made in Magnus.
