Greetings St. Thomas More Cathedral School Families-
It's hard to believe that the holidays will soon be upon us! With that comes the opportunity to help those less fortunate in our community. STM is partnering, once again, this year with Christ House in an effort to provide meals to the homeless and families transitioning from homelessness. Christ House is working hard to provide Christmas gifts and meals for their residents as well as those still struggling with homelessness. But they can’t do it on their own. As a school community, we are working closely with our Cathedral family to reach a lofty goal of 200 Christmas Dinner boxes this year.
We’d like to help Christ House in a unique way this year by filling a minimum of 50 boxes to donate from the STM students and their families. We are kindly asking each grade, as well as our faculty and staff to please donate one of the items needed to complete a box. (If each student and staff member brings one of the items requested, we should be able to easily reach our goal of 50 complete boxes). With any luck, and the continued generosity of our families, I believe we will be able to surpass our goal and provide even more to those in need.
