2022 - Summer Private and Group Instrument Lessons with Barry Ward
In order to keep their “chops” during the summer, (by the way, “chops”, is a musician’s lingo for
continuing to play and stay in shape), I am offering zoom lessons in the month of June and July. Group
lessons or private lessons, can be organized if there is interest. Sorry, there can be no program offered
at school over the summer. This program is patterned after last year’s success during the summer. The
idea is to hopefully keep things going over the summer. The cost of these lessons will be kept as low as

If interested, the following program is begin offered for the months of June and July. Make up lessons
for vacations and so forth can be made up in the first week of August. Online zoom lesson types have
proven to be a great help in maintaining performance levels, as well as improved playing. Private
lessons will always be the best vehicle for improvement, however group lessons can add great value.
Additionally, beginning students (no experience) are welcome to start an instrument. All band
instruments are being offered these lessons. There may be some middle school programs being offered
around the area with local public schools.
Mr. Ward’s summer lesson program includes:
Private lessons: $75.00 per month - 1/2 hour private lesson - Tuesdays and Wednesdays
>Beginner, Intermediate, and Ad vanced private lesson - any instrument
Group lessons: $60.00 per month - Tuesdays and Wednesdays> 1/2 hour lesson per week .
>Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Group lessons- any instrument.
>Groups will be those who show interest, grouped by age, experience, and instrument.
