Masks and Covid

It has been refreshing to see more and more faces appear out from under masks as the CDC guidelines have changed around masking and the school's dress code has been updated accordingly. As a reminder/update per standing county guidance, shorter quarantines under December 2021 CDC guidelines do still mean that when we have had a case in a class, students must mask for ten days, and unvaccinated students in some cases, if unmasked, may still have to quarantine. At this time quarantine and isolation times for STM are five days starting from the first positive/symptomatic day, with a return to school on day 6. In the last two weeks we have had 5 Covid cases in our school.
