My name is Veronica Donovan. I am a Northern Virginia native and am a parishioner of St. Thomas More Cathedral. This is my fifth year teaching. I am newly married and enjoy traveling and exploring new places with my husband!
I have experience in both third and fourth grades but have worked and subbed in the past for many grade levels ranging from Kindergarten to High School. I am dedicated to providing differentiated instruction and focusing on the whole person (mind, body, and soul) in all aspects of my teaching philosophy. I am committed to the awareness of each child's mental and emotional health and how it impacts their education. I believe all students should be taught social and emotional skills...they are the capstone of their future through which all else flows.
This Catholic Community is truly so wonderful and I am blessed to be a apart of it. My favorite saints are St.Therese of Lisieux and St.Joseph the Worker. I love to spend my days reading good books, watching documentaries, and learning to cook a new recipe. Some of my favorite things are coffee, chocolate, and Disney.
