Report Cards Come Home on Friday!

Can you believe we have already completed one trimester together? On Friday, your child(ren) will receive their first report card(s) of the 2021-2022 school year. There are a few different grading scales that I would love to break down for you:

Kindergarten:

M: Meets Expectations

Your child has met the expectations of their grade level for the first trimester.

P: Progressing

Your child is continuing to show improvement and progressing in a developmentally

appropriate way.

NI: Needs Improvement

This is an area that needs some special attention at school and at home.

1st and 2nd Grades:

M: Meets Expectations

Your child has met the expectations of their grade level for the first trimester.

P: Progressing

Your child is continuing to show improvement and progressing in a developmentally

appropriate way.

3: Your child has gone above and beyond in these areas.

2: Your child is doing exactly what they need to be doing in these areas.

1: Your child needs to work on these areas.

X: This is an area of concern.

4th through 8th Grades:

You receive number grades for each subject that corresponds to the percentage your child earned. The Diocese of Arlington does not give letter grades A-D.

I hope this is helpful as you discuss the report card with your child(ren) this weekend. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.
