Asynchronous Work Days
Over the past week, I have enjoyed taking a sneak peek at what your child will be working on for their asynchronous school days next week. I am always proud of our faculty and staff, but am extremely pleased with the content and engagement the teachers are extending to your family to ensure that:
- We are able to enjoy some quality family time over Thanksgiving break. I certainly appreciate the extra two days!
- The learning continues. Your child(ren) will be working on activities that engage their minds, bodies, and spirituality. They will be asked to extend lessons learned previously, practice concepts via creative projects, and demonstrate their knowledge across subject areas.
A reminder that all Asynchronous activities in Grades PK-7 will be due on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. At this time, they will be graded as a homework grade; late submissions will not receive full credit and may be counted as a 0.
For 8th grade, there is ONE assignment due upon returning to school on 11/29/2021: HSPT Review. This is due to the time sensitive nature of our 8th graders taking the High School Placement Test (HSPT) on Thursday, December 2, 2021. All other assignments will be due on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.
