STM Nurses Complete Certification on Mental Health First Aid
This Friday, October 29, while the students are off of school, STM nurses will be at offsite training getting certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid. Just as the teachers are given opportunities to advance their training and education through the diocese, so too are the nurses. 18+ months of pandemic have created and exacerbated stress for many in our school community and this training will be helpful going forward.
Hearing and Vision Screening for K, 3rd and 7th
Hearing and vision screenings will take place with a partnership with the Lions on 11/3. Teachers held on to the original permission forms so if you signed consent for your child to be screened, we have it on hand. We could still use a few more volunteers from either 8-11 or 11-2.
