St. Thomas More Cathedral School is pleased to announce that we are the recipient of a Porto Charities, Inc. grant of $8,000 for the 2021-2022 school year. This funding will be used to provide professional development for teachers and to support the funding of future staff hiring. Porto Charities, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to actively assisting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They raise funds for the purpose of establishing special education and inclusion programs in the Diocese of Arlington. Porto Charities, Inc., also awards grants to Diocesan schools that provide the opportunity for inclusive Catholic education for students with special needs.
