Greetings Kindergarten Families!

My name is Nadia Yaffie and I am thrilled to be a kindergarten teacher here at St. Thomas More School. I have been teaching for more than ten years. I come from a family of teachers and knew at a young age; I would continue the legacy of teaching. I am from Baltimore, Maryland, but now reside in Southern Maryland. I went to Coppin State University a historically black university known for its excellent elementary education program. I graduated Coppin State University in 2009, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Psychology.

I am a proud military spouse and a mom of three. I have a son, a daughter, and a bonus stepson. I love spending time with my family and doing fun family activities together. 

A few other fun facts about myself are, I am a fan of the Baltimore Ravens, I love shopping on Amazon, and lastly, I enjoy binge watching tv shows.

I look forward to getting to know each and everyone of my students and to having a great school year!
