Welcome to Ms. Romero's Seventh Grade Homeroom

Meet Ms. Romero

My name is Ms. Mirian Romero. I currently live in Annandale and grew up in Alexandria, VA. I attended Parklawn Elementary, Edgar Allen Poe Middle, and Annandale High School. For college I attended Marymount University in Arlington, VA and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Theology and Religious Studies and a Minor in Education.

I have spent many years teaching Religious Education at Saint Anthony of Padua (Falls Church), Holy Family (Dale City), and Saint Thomas More. I also spent my summers babysitting and teaching at a Vacation Bible School.

This is my first-year teaching seventh grade History, eighth grade History, and seventh grade Religion at Saint Thomas More Cathedral School. I previously taught fifth grade Math, Reading, and Social Studies. Teaching is my number one passion in life and helping all my students reach their full potential is my top priority. It is very important to me that all of my students feel successful, safe, and loved every single day! It brings me so much joy seeing my students’ faces light up during an engaging lesson.

In my spare time, I enjoy working out, spending time with my family and friends, attending sporting events and concerts, and exploring the outdoors.
