Dear parents,
I hope you had a great weekend and a wonderful Mother’s Day.
Thank you so much for your gracious and generous notes and gifts last week during Teacher Appreciation Week – they were much appreciated!
Upcoming events:
Tuesday, May 16 – 6th Grade Battle of the Books field trip – best of luck to our team!
Wednesday, May 17 – Middle school will get to watch the 8th grade’s performance of Hamlet
Thursday, May 18 – 8th grade girls PE field trip
Friday, May 19 – 8th grade Shark Tank (STEM fair), 1:00-3:00 p.m.
Below is what is coming up in class this week:
Algebra 8 -- We will study the first three sections of Chapter 12 and then start to review for our exemption exam on June 3. We will have a small quiz over Chapter 12 this week.
Algebra 7 – We will study the first three sections of Chapter 12 and then start to review for our exemption exam on June 3. We will have a small quiz over Chapter 12 this week.
Pre-algebra 7 – We will finish studying our unit on Chapter 11 this week but will not have a test or quiz. We will also start studying Chapter 12, Probability.
Social Studies 6 – We will finish our study of Ancient Rome this week. The take home test is due on Tuesday, May 16. The binder will be due on Friday, May 19. We will also start studying the Byzantine Empire and Islamic Civilizations this week.
Religion 6-7 – We will begin studying Chapter 22, Isaiah Proclaims the Promised Messiah. We will probably have our test on Friday, May 19.
