A word from the teachers about 5th grade…
STM 5th graders grow in independence and develop organizational skills by self monitoring homework assignments and use of binders. Cross curricular lessons are planned with diocesan guidelines in mind. Both teachers work very closely to provide students with meaningful activities and projects that help make their learning experience more enjoyable. Students can be seen using iPads frequently in LA, making timelines in SS, working on string art in math, creating a Saints’ Hall of Fame in religion class and exploring properties of rocks and minerals in Science.
