Giving

St. Thomas More Cathedral School is supported by parent fund-raising as well as by donations from alumni and other friends. We are a tax deductible 501(3)C organization and all monetary contributions will be acknowledged in writing.

Giving is easy and you can choose from a range of options as explained below. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

In 2011 St. Thomas More established the following giving categories to encourage greater giving at all levels and to acknowledge those who make substantial gifts to the school.

  • Cash Gifts - By making a cash gift, you ensure your donation will be immediately available to support important school programs and services. You can help support STM by:
  • Donate Online using a credit card. Simply earmark your donation for our annual appeal, or tuition assistance.
  • Securing matching gifts. If you are currently employed (or retired and receiving a company pension), you can ask your company's human resources department whether your company has a matching gift program. If the answer is yes, you can effectively double or possibly triple your STM donation. Arrange to have the matching funds sent directly to STM, along with your own gift.
  • Giving through the Combined Federal Campaign. If you work for the US government, the Congress or a state or local government you can give through the Combined Federal Campaign by designating St. Thomas More Cathedral School (#8976 United Way).
  • Giving through United Way (#8976). If you work for a private company or firm that holds an annual United Way campaign, simply designate St. Thomas More on your donor form.
