PreKindergarten
NEW - Extended Day for Pre-K
Saint Thomas More Cathedral School is excited to announce that Extended Day will be offered for Pre-K students for the 2011 - 2012 school year. The program will be available until 6:00pm each day. Please share this information with friends and neighbors who are interested in our school.
Pre-Kindergarten
"Education is not the piling on of learning, information, data, facts, skills, or abilities - that's training or instruction - but is rather making visible what is hidden as a seed." St. Thomas More
Saint Thomas More Cathedral School offers a five day pre-kindergarten program for children who will be age 4 by October 1.
Our Pre-Kindergarten Program fosters joy in discovery and learning in a Catholic environment that nurtures the whole child in the areas of spiritual, social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development. Our curriculum is aligned with Virginia's Foundation Blocks for Early Learning & Comprehensive Standards for Four-year-olds.
Parental Involvement
Parents are encouraged to participate in their child's preschool experience. There will be various opportunities to share your time and talent with your child's class.
