Andrea Carr received her Bachelor of Music degree from Catholic University in 2008. She has since taught general music in Alexandria City, from which she joined the Diocese of Arlington. Mrs. Carr enjoys helping students explore music through the creative processes of playing, singing, composing, and moving . Her goal is to instill in each child a life-long appreciation of music. Mrs. Carr has a particular passion for music history which she readily brings into the music classroom. As well as teaching general music classes, Mrs. Carr serves as the assistant director of the Cathedral Youth Choir.  She is also an active member of the choir of the Cathedral of Saint Thomas More, where she serves as a cantor for weekend Masses. She enjoys keeping up her artistic development by taking dance classes around Arlington.
