As former STM students, we owe a debt of thanks to all the IHM Sisters and
teachers, principals and staff who guided us during our years
at STM and laid the foundation for good study and work habits,
ethics and empathy for others.
You can show your gratitude in a very meaningful way by making
a generous gift to STM through the Alumni Association. With your
support, STM can continue to educate and foster exemplary citizens
and leaders of tomorrow.
Giving is easy and you can choose from a range of options as
explained below. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
Cash Gifts
By making a cash gift, you ensure your donation will be immediately
available to support important school programs and services.
You can help support STM by:
- Donate Online using a credit card. Simply earmark your donation for our annual appeal, or tuition assistance.

- Securing matching gifts. If you are currently
employed (or retired and receiving a company pension), you can ask your
company's human resources department whether your company has a
matching gift program. If the answer is yes, you can effectively
double or possibly triple your STM donation. Arrange to have the
matching funds sent directly to STM, along with your own gift.
- Giving through the Combined Federal Campaign.
If you work for the US government, the Congress or a state
or local government you can give through the Combined Federal
Campaign by designating St. Thomas More Cathedral School
(#8976 United Way).
- Giving through United Way. If you work for a private
company or firm that holds an annual United Way campaign, simply
designate St. Thomas More on your donor form.
- Send or bring in personal checks to the
address below:
St. Thomas More Cathedral School
ATTN: Development Committee
105 North Thomas Street
Arlington VA 22203
All monetary contributions will be acknowledged in writing.
St. Thomas More Cathedral School is a tax deductible 501(c)(3)
organization.
Memorial and Tribute Giving
Gifts in memory of deceased friends or loved ones - or gifts that
honor living individuals are gratefully accepted. Any gift may be
designated in memory of or in honor of a special person,
student, teacher or staff. These memorial or noted gifts will be
acknowledged in writing and posted on the alumni website.
