The Race for Education is an annual fundraiser at STM.  Students walk or jog around our P.E. track area as many times as possible in a one-hour period. Each student raises funds by asking sponsors to contribute a tax deductible donation to STM.  People either sponsor the students with a per lap pledge or with a flat donation.

2008 Race for Education proceeds went towards providing every classroom with an Activboard, 2009 Race for Education proceeds went towards modifying and updating the library, and the 2010 Race for Education proceeds are going towards the gym renovations.

The final total for the 2010 Race for Education is $26,570.50!!! Thank you again to everyone for your support.  This year thank you notes were written for *all* donations sent in. Over 600 thank you notes for donations under $50 were written by Cecilia Fernandez and Darnell Jayne.  If you see them, please give them a big thank you!  Can’t wait to see our updated gym soon!
