The St. Thomas More Cathedral School Middle School program offers students a challenging, well-balanced school experience. The program seeks to inspire in each child a love for learning, an attitude of inquiry and a passion for truth. By implementing a developmentally responsive and relevant curriculum, students are able to engage in active, purposeful learning to prepare for high school. The Middle School experience is a crucial time of growth and transition.
A wide range of opportunities is available to encourage participation, creativity, and a sense of shared accomplishment. Students participate in activities ranging from Science Fairs, Spelling and Geography Bees, Diocesan Shakespeare Festival, Yearbook, Sea Perch, as well as cross curricular activities in Spanish, Art, and Technology. Many students study Algebra 1 and test into accelerated high school math. Students also attend and actively participate in weekly Mass, Prayer Partner activities with younger students and community service projects. Our students distinguish themselves through their middle school years, and our graduates go on to achieve many of the academic honors and leadership roles in high school.
St. Thomas More Cathedral School graduates attend the area’s outstanding Catholic, private, and public high schools.
