Below is a list of guidelines to help keep you safe and happy on the internet! Also, your parents or another adult should always supervise your computer use.
Never share personal identity information:

  1. DO NOT give out any information that would help someone find you. Personal identity information includes pictures, names, school name, address, neighborhood, and teams or clubs you or your friends participate in.

  2. DO NOT chat, text, or email people you don’t know.

  3. DO NOT share pictures or videos of you, your house, school or other items listed above under personal identity.

CYBER BULLYING – DON’T DO IT!

What does it mean? Cyber bullying is when someone online does or says something to hurt or anger someone else.
Homework Helpers for Students

Go to Discover Education to find great resources that will help you in the classroom! Intermediate and middle school students should pay special attention to the math section. This area offers great opportunities for reviewing math concepts that you haven’t used for a while. Also, for science fair ideas and help, go to Scotch Science Fair Central (under Classroom Resources there is a tab at the top.).
Copy and paste this link into your browser window: http://www.discoveryeducation.com/. Go to the “Programs and Free Tools” area and look under At Home on the right to find the free resources available.

WebMath is a great place to find a topic that you need to review in math. It is also a link under the Math section of Discovery Education. It has a quick jump feature which allows you to search a long list of specific skills for faster access. Copy and paste this link into your browser window: http://www.webmath.com/
