NEW - In the event Arlington County Schools have a delayed opening, STM Open house will begin at 1015 and in the event school is closed STM will reschedule the Open House. Parents comment St. Thomas More students are happy and respectful. Come see for yourself and experience the friendly, welcoming atmosphere of our nationally-recognized school! Join us for a weekday open house to observe the students and teachers in action on a typical school day. Meet the principal, parents and student ambassadors. Visitors can ask questions, tour the school, and enjoy coffee and light snacks. Tour highlights include the recently upgraded early learning wing, new media center and library, state-of-the art computer lab, bright art room, gym, and lunch room. Watch for teachers using the ActivBoards as a tool for learning in every classroom. The Sunday open house celebrates the opening of Catholic Schools’ Week. Prospective parents, alumni and current STM families are invited to attend this large reception following the 9:30 a.m. Mass at the Cathedral. Classrooms will be open for children of all ages to explore and teachers will be available to answer questions. Visitors can enjoy refreshments, take self-guided tours throughout the facility, and register for the upcoming school year. If the open house schedule listed here is not convenient, please contact the school office at (703) 528-6781x24 to schedule a private tour. When visiting during the week, please check in with the receptionist at the main entrance. When attending the Sunday open house, please proceed directly to the cafeteria. Thank you.
